Schedule for the Day:
This two hour workshop will include practical activities to get grounded and familiar with the space, workshop leaders and other participants. We will explore breathing, regulation, focus and calm. Once settled, we will move up to the creative studio to explore materials and practice arts for wellbeing and personal development. We will take a short break for refreshments and a breather, then complete our piece of art in the studio before re-grouping with movement, music or discussion to end at 12pm nicely balanced and ready for the weekend!
About the Event:
Led by qualified SEN teachers and transpersonal arts therapists our enrichment activities are open to all young people 11-16 years. During the school-day BCE is an independent education provider and our weekend and holiday activities are a chance to share our resources with the community. During our Saturday workshops we offer parents and carers the chance to speak with a SEND and inclusion specialist whilst their child takes part in the studio activities.
